Gosia Millward

Individual, Relationship Couple

Hello. I am a licensed Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I have over 5 years experience providing psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and teenagers. I offer individual, family, and couples therapy depending on your needs.
Getting to know and understand the unique and complex individual who I am working with is an ongoing focus in my therapy. I work to build a strong therapeutic relationship, grounded in authenticity, with a safe, genuine and non-judgmental atmosphere. This is essential for cultivating the benefits that come with greater self-awareness and emotional understanding of both past and present life experiences. Within this therapeutic atmosphere, opportunities open up for deeper personal meaning and more effective choices in responding to life’s challenges. When people commit to this work I tend to see great shifts in their ability to tolerate and grapple with painful emotions. With those shifts, new ways of experiencing life become possible.
The ability to take a genuine, curious, and compassionate look at yourself can lead the way to a profound sense of freedom and relief. I have seen nothing more beautiful than the kind of liberated and fulfilling life experiences that have resulted from dedication to this journey.

Lee Millward

Individual, Family Couple Counsellor

I am a licensed Psychotherapeutic Counsellor who values the opportunity to connect deeply with other humans and help with their journey of healing and feeling most authentically themselves. My passion and experience lie in working with individuals, couples, and groups of diverse ethnicities, races, nationalities, sexual orientations, and gender identities. For the past 4 years, my clinical experiences have ranged from private practices and college counselling centres to an outpatient clinic and a addictions charities. I bring warmth, acceptance, trust, and empathy into my work.
Always at the forefront is attuning to the client and integrating these modalities in a way that meets the unique needs of the person in front of me. I believe that in our early life or in times of great difficulty or trauma we do what is necessary to survive, and while these tactics were once essential for us to cope, they can come to no longer serve us. I help clients uncover how these tactics they once needed to employ may now be blocking their full aliveness, connection to their emotional experience, and ability to form deep, fulfilling, and sustained relationships with others. I accompany clients in unpacking beliefs about themselves they may have internalized and helps them learn to relate to their thoughts differently. I also support clients in processing emotions they may never have previously felt safe enough to explore and help clients discover different ways of relating to themselves and others that are more nourishing.
